Tomas: I'd also like to ask what was going on in your life 1999/2000, since you produced 2 hours of music each year there, which almost no artist I know of has done at all, not of that quality at least. Nana Mouskouri is all I can think of.

Josh: 1999/2000 - those were indeed some prolific years for me. I still look back on them fondly. Well, I graduated high school in 1998 - between '99 and '00 I was attending community college, which was a total cakewalk compared to the fairly grueling highschool experience I had just finished. I suddenly found myself with much more free time than I was used to, and surrounded by peers that I actually had things in common with. I didn't have a girlfriend or a job, I was living at my parents' place - life was easy, so I had a lot of time to devote to the things I really wanted to do (making music, 3d art, and playing games). I also spent a lot of time on IRC back then, and found a real sense of community in #trax. I also got a lot of positive feedback there, as well as from the traxinspace mod ranking site that was popular at the time. So I think it was a combination of motivation from community and feedback, plenty of free time to work at my leisure, and partly a sort of longing inspiration as well, knowing I was at a really positive junction in my life but also looking forward to the future.
